Frames and inline frames (iframes) are supported by search engines. Nevertheless, frames via frameset tags make it difficult to index content correctly and are not recommended. Inline frames (iframes) are less problematic and usually used for small code snippets however having to many iframes or putting large portion of page content in iframe is not recommended.
